Sunday is a perfect day for family gatherings.
Such a lovely day, no rush, no urge to be somewhere else, to do something else, but enjoy the moment.
I remember living with my parents was almost never fun, we didn’t talk to each other much, let alone eat together or share moments together.
My sister and I were feeling that we were missing important part of our right to freedom that we legitimately deserve.
After we moved we’ve kind of cultivated worship to family gatherings and dinners.
Sunday is the day when we visit our parents, when we talk to them, share life experiences and sometimes ask or give advice.
I have realized how much I love my parents, how much they care for me and that the parents’ home is always open for visits. Visits that fill their hearts with joy.
They have that innate need to give more to you of anything they could, just to make you little bit happier so they would know they contributed in your well being.
But I guess human nature is like that – looking for purpose in life and maintaining it by giving.
“The value of a man or woman resides in what he or she gives, not in what they are capable of receiving.”
I wish I had more people in my life that are openhearted, caring and generous like my parents.
So each Sunday I’m celebrating generosity and I’m feeling grateful for all that I have.
Happy Sunday to you all!
